Layer 1
A suggestion is not an order
Dexter may draft an order. The AI saying yes is not your consent. Only you approve. What you approve is exactly what is sent; nothing is rewritten afterwards.
Safety is the product, not a footer. You approve every order.
Who this is for. For traders who already have a thesis and trade on more than one venue. Who it isn’t. Autopilot. Custody. Signal services. “AI trades for you.” Live on install. Anyone who wants a bot overnight without them.
You approve every order. Research is not a trade. Dexter never holds your money or keys. Paper before live.
Layer 1
Dexter may draft an order. The AI saying yes is not your consent. Only you approve. What you approve is exactly what is sent; nothing is rewritten afterwards.
Layer 2
If a safety check, the trading mode, or the venue’s response is unclear, the order is blocked. Unclear means nothing is sent.
Layer 3
Live is unlocked per venue after a paper trade works end to end there — never globally by a single switch. Install starts in practice mode. Not live on install.
Layer 4
Your broker and exchange keys live in a sealed store used only to send approved orders. The AI, your notes, and chat never see them.
Layer 5
Hostile content — a filing, a post, a feed — may lead to a Trade Card. Only you, acting on the desk, can approve an order. No AI step, file, or document Dexter reads can do it.
Layer 6
Live trading where the AI decides and sends orders with no human in the loop goes against the product. We will not build it.
YourDexter is a client of your accounts. No custody. No discretion.
